The Will Of God

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. And this is the Father's will which have sent me, that of all which he have given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. So then it is not of him that will, nor of him that run, but of God that shows mercy. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God have not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despises, despise not man, but God, who have also given unto us his holy Spirit. But as touching brotherly love you need not that I write unto you: for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another. And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
